Bachelor of Science with Honours (Bioinformatics) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is a four-year undergraduate programme that integrates biological sciences with computational and data analysis techniques. The curriculum covers molecular biology, genetics, programming, database systems and computational modelling, supported by practical training in bioinformatics tools and software.

The programme emphasises the analysis and interpretation of biological data, including genomic and proteomic datasets, to support research in biotechnology, medicine and life sciences. Students also complete a final-year research project to develop independent analytical and problem-solving competencies.
